Natsu and Lucy successfully complete the S-Class job, and learn from the client that their guildmaster Makarov Dreyar has been kidnapped by the extinct Zeref and taken to Tenrou Island. They are later confronted by a guild called Grimoire Heart, led by Hades, who is fervently searching for Zeref. During an intense battle, Lucy and Natsu face off against two powerful guild members: Ultear Milkovich, a magic user and former member of Fairy Tail who can manipulate time, and her adoptive father and master, Zancrow.Using magic learned from Ultear that judges strength by age, Natsu is injured fighting Zancrow's Fire God Slayer magic. Before Zancrow can deliver the finishing blow to him, he is stopped by his former master Ur. Returning to Magnolia after their fight with the dark guild Eisenwald, Natsu and the others are invited to a banquet at Fairy Tail's guildhall celebrating their victory. The next day, Natsu starts a contest with Erza over who can eat more cakes in order to find her weakness. Soon after, the Magic Council arrives at Fairy Tail and arrest Erza for engaging in illegal events. In an effort to rescue her, Natsu disguises himself as Makarov in an attempt to rescue her. The plan fails with Natsu being sent to jail too instead. But this is all a ruse from the Magic Council as they were merely observing Fairy Tail's weak points rather than arresting them. A week later, Natsu takes up an S-Class Job despite it being forbidden by Makarov.

Erza Scarlet is a young female member of Fairy Tail, who is famous for her usage of Requip in battle. She usually wears very revealing clothing and ties her red hair into two tight pigtails on each side. She has a long scar from the back of her head to the left corner of her eye by way of the middle of her forehead, which she has had since childhood. She also possesses a slender figure and an ample chest size, which makes her one of the most attractive characters as said by Natsu Dragneel and Happy.
